Melissa Henderson
Greetings,
I am Melissa Henderson, the Primary music teacher for grades 1, 2, and 3 here at OIS. Last year I taught grades 1 and 2 general music and grade 5 band at the American School of Bombay. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in instrumental music education from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, and have completed Kodaly Level 1 Certification from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. I am very excited to share my passion for and knowledge of music with the students.
As a musician, I am a flautist and have performed several times here in Mumbai as well as in the U.S. I also love to sing and dance and play many other instruments. In my spare time I enjoy baking, salsa dancing, and traveling.
