Learning objectives:

1. Students will publish their personal narrative.
2. Students will do different elements of the Daily 5.
3. Students will understand the importance of punctuation in writing.
4. Students will be able to punctuate simple sentences correctly.
5. Students will be able to use adjectives to describe objects. Students will identify adjectives in a writing sample. Students will use adjectives in their writing.

Learning engagements:

1. Students will celebrate their writing by sharing their published pieces with their friends.
2. Students do read to self, read to someone and listen to reading. 
3. Student will put his/her hand into the bag and describe what he/she feels. The class will identify the object. 
4. Students will identify the errors in sentences and will use their knowledge of beginning and end punctuation to rectify them.
