Unit: Traditional Art Form
In this unit, students are learning various art forms from around the world. They learned about Madhubani painting which is an Indian traditional art form. They were very excited to learn this new style of painting and to learn how traditionally those artist would use natural things like flower pollen, minerals, etc. as their paints and would use twigs as their paint brush. They also made note of it in their art journal. Students enjoyed doing this form of art very much .
