- Students read various books on communities and also
researched on iPad.
- Students did activities related to the topic in order
to enhance their understanding of various communities and identified how
they changed over time.

In Mathematics,

different strategies to solve addition problems.

- Students continued to work on addition with carrying
over and looking at double digits.
- Students solved simple mathematical word problems
involving 2 and 3 digit numbers.
- The students were given the opportunity to use different
strategies and apply mathematical reasoning skills for solving addition
problems as part of the summative task.

- Students were encouraged to punctuate their writing by using
capital letters, full stops and began to use commas.
- Students began publishing the final piece of their own
descriptive writing.
