Unit: Folk art around the world
During this unit students are learning about different folk arts from around the world and their style of painting and different mediums used to express themselves. They learned about Gond painting which is an Indian Folk art. They were very excited to learn this new style of painting and to learn how about how these artists would draw natural things like birds and animals in their artwork. Students enjoyed doing this art very much using this art style.
