Students listened to a story of Bhakt Prahlad and Holika from Indian Mythology to know why we celebrate Holi .....why we burn sticks......
Students discussed how they celebrate Holi ... What they do ....What kinds of the food we make during the festival.
Students discussed about DOs and DON'Ts in Holi .
Students wrote a few sentences about the Holi Festival. They made a nice poster for Holi with hand-prints.
Newspaper - Samamchar Patra
Students observed different Hindi Newspapers like Navbhaarat Times.....Aaj kaa aanand etc. They came up with different categories of the news like International News, National news, Local news, Economical news Celebrities news, Filmy news, Sports news etc.
Students learned Hindi vocabulary related to the different kids of news.
