In Grade 2 Music we have been inquiring into all kinds of patterns in music. From rhythm patterns, to melody patterns, to form, and dance. Now that we have been able to identify patterns through looking at and listening to music, the students did a project connecting the patterns of music and emotion. They chose their favorite song and did a presentation on why it is their favorite and how the music makes them feel. I have really enjoyed seeing the creativity and interests of the students in ways I haven’t seen before!
